I'm a single mom and a licensed counselor who is passionate about parents and children. I have been a counselor since the late 1990s and working with parents and children in crisis, as well as, normal parenting struggles. I am now launching my own online business in counseling and parenting counseling and looking to exchange my services here. I'm passionate about my work with parents and see concrete results. I help parents understand how their children's brains work and how to connect consistently with them. I help parents get cooperation from their children without harsh discipline and punishment. I help parents let go of the frustration that comes along with parenting and begin to enjoy the time we have with our little ones again. I work with parents who have the every-day, normal parent-child struggles, as well as parents whose children are struggling with bigger behavioral and emotional challenges -- nothing is too great to navigate together!

I work differently than traditional counselors, although I am a licensed professional counselor and national certified counselor. I work with parents as more of a coach. We work to get tangible results and real-life changes.
