About Andrina Fawcett
** Currently looking for full-time opportunities**
I'm a Content Strategist with a love for mediating business requirements and user needs. I truly value wholehearted problem solving, community development, strategic thinking, and continuous learning.
My high tolerance for ambiguity is matched only by a willingness to peel back the layers of any messy problem in order to find a creative solution. A lot of what I do as a Content Strategist is discovering the “why" to work towards a strategic and sustainable “how.” Talking to clients, hearing their stories, and mediating business goals with user needs is what gets me out of bed in the morning.
My professional curiosity also means that I'm a bit of generalist at heart. My skill set is a toolbox that allows me to use the right tool for the job as needed. Whether that's putting on a business analysis hat, coding a prototype in HTML / CSS, creating and testing information architecture, developing voice and tone guides, creating content models for WordPress, or training clients on how to use their new content management system: I have a wide range of skills that adds value wherever I'm needed.
I'm very confident in my ability to pinpoint trends, uncover potential problems, and identify both opportunities and solutions. I tend to look at obstacles as the chance to learn and grow, and I have a steady leadership style that relies on clear communication, coaching, and targeted language.
With a conscious outlook that treats carefully-considered feedback as a gift, I believe that building on and sharing the ideas of others creates a supportive, collective, and collaborative space that is able to design and execute the bedrock of any creative business solution. I truly love to work as part of a high performing team to create polished products that work for clients and their users.
