60-Minute Swahili Lesson

I will teach you Swahili basics for 60 minutes via Skype / Google hangouts. These lessons are applicable for Kenyan, Tanzanian, Ugandan and Congolese Swahili. I learned in Tanzania, which makes these lessons the purest form of Swahili you can get.
We'll also cover some essential peices of African culture, to get you ready for a visit.
It's really easier than most other languages, really!

I'm a US Citizen, so English is my first language----but I gained a very good understanding of the language when my family lived in Tanzania when I was 13. I can speak it fluently, and hope to help you get there too!

Training & Qualifications
I am fluent in Swahili, and have spent a couple years living in East Africa. Our lesson will be sure to cover unique parts of East African culture, as well as answering any questions you may have. I've been an online translator for Swahili for about 5 years on ProZ translations.
