Amy was pleasant to work with. Her e-mail stated what she wanted, but I felt confused at times about her priorities when we talked about her needs ove...r the phone. She has some obstacles to overcome. Her immediate family is a meat-and-potatoes type of family. She wants to eat raw and vegan. I wasn't quite sure if she wants to introduce raw vegan foods to her family, or if she has mostly decided that she's going to cook for herself separately from her family. In that case, her greatest challenge is to create varied, easily-prepared, and storeable meals thus minimizing waste. I let her know that I am less familiar with the raw diet than with standard veganism, so I wasn't much help in menu planning. However, I did provide resources where Amy could find the recipes she is looking for. These recipes can be a starting point for preparing food for her immediate family, herself, and her family members soon to visit. I also sent her a sample meal plan to give her ideas on how she can structure her meals to minimize waste and save money. show more
