Do you have some concerns regarding your pet? I'll have you fill out a questionnaire about your pet and follow it with a 30 minute consultation (via Skype or messenger) with you in regards to your cat, dog or horse regarding any or all of the following topics;
Nutrition
Medical concerns
Behaviour/training
Health care recommendations
I can also do home visits to teach basic grooming, nail trimming, medication administration, etc. for local individuals for a higher fee.
Note* I am NOT a veterinary Dr and thus cannot prescribe or diagnose any medical concerns. I CAN provide home remedies for smaller medical issues however major medical concerns should be addressed by your veterinarian. Not sure if the symptoms fluffy is showing should be addressed? I can help with that too!
Training & Qualifications
I am a registered veterinary technician (RVT) with the OAVT. I have been working in veterinary medicine for nearly a decade.
I began as a foal handler for a well known A circuit warmblood breeder. I participated in ultrasounds, artificial insemination, delivery and handling of foals for 3 yrs. I worked in emerg for a year and small animal practice for 3 yrs.
I currently work a fast paced job in a large Toronto referral and emerg hospital in the emergency and icu departments. I do life saving medical procedures on a daily basis and love every second of it. My skills include triage and assessment, venipuncture, cytology and clinical lab procedures, induction and anaesthesia, critical care monitoring, CPR, radiology, dentistry, nutrition, basic grooming, and MUCH more.
