Resource exploration for poor folk
15
I was born into poverty and survived ongoing abuse and neglect, the US foster system, child and adulthood houselessness, lack of a formal education, multiple disabilities, chronic conditions, and more.
It’s not easy being poor, but if you’re new to it, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I’ve got 40 years of life experience under my belt and can share strategies for daily living such as how to shop and eat on a strict budget, maintaining hygiene with limited energy and ability, finding free mental health supports that best support your journey, and help you find resources in your area, as well as providing coping strategies and an experienced listening ear.
This support can be offered via text based chat or video call, your preference. Sessions will be one hour long.
