I am a wife (to a Ghanian therapist), mom (to a serious 2.5 year old), and nurse (to adult cardiac patients). We live in Colorado and I enjoy being outdoors hiking, biking, or running; dabbling in art, reading, singing... I consider myself a jack of all trades- I can play a little guitar and trumpet; I've worked as a cemetery mower, a corn detasseler, a librarian assistant, a writing tutor, a layout designer using Adobe software, a warehouse worker (picking, packing, re-organizing systems), a wrangler, a nurse assistant, and a nurse. I studied Spanish in high school but learned it during a semester abroad in college and through other travels. It's always a good day when I get to use my Spanish at work because it helps the patient and I usually end up learning more new words!
