No-fault "1A" divorce help in MA
- Have a 30-minute consultation with you about your no-fault "1A" divorce (in Massachusetts) and what documents/paperwork are required to successfully get it done.
From the mass.gov website:
"The most common approach is no-fault based on an irretrievable breakdown of the marriage. There are two options for a no-fault divorce. A “1A” divorce would be filed when both spouses agree that the marriage has irretrievably broken down and they have reached a written agreement with respect to child support, parenting time, alimony, child custody and the division of marital assets. This is an uncontested no-fault divorce."
Training & Qualifications
I got divorced in Massachusetts on my own without any assistance from a mediator or lawyer. Since it was a 1A divorce, all that needed to get done was agreements with the ex and a lot of paperwork. It's kind of a nightmare to do on one's own, but it's fairly straightforward with a helping hand.
