I've found numerous sources describing using a blowpipe and heat sources from candles and alcohol lamps to propane or butane to make a hotter, more precise flame. It was used for soldering, lampwork, and jewelry for hundreds or thousands of years.
I'd like someone to help educate and show me more about using a blowpipe, especially with an alcohol lamp.
