My background is in space engineering with a focus on mid space colonization. This has given me a very wide base of technical training, while also incorporating a lot of fields outside traditional science. My focus has always been on society building in harsh environments, and with our own environment becoming more harsh, I have turned my attention to rebuilding society here in a sustainable manner. I have a strong background in philosophy, political science, atmospheric science, and psychology on top of my engineering knowledge, because most of the issues concerning colonization are not the technical ones.

I am currently engaged in the attempt to separate myself from the standard economy, to become independent in food supply (gardening and rabbit farming), water supply, shelter and the ability to manufacture goods (blacksmithing and aluminum smithing). After I am independant I want to offer any extras I produce to the community around me to show them that there is an alternative, and to keep them afloat when the standard economy crashes.

I also write science fiction, and role play extensively. I am attempting to create a platform for 3d rendering maps in the first person view for use as a forum for roleplay.
