Playtest & Feedback for Your Game

30

30 per hour - Virtual OK - Posted Dec 28, 2016

I will play your board game, card game, or video game with the requested number of players, providing detailed feedback on the rules, play experience, fun factor, reactions, and game balance afterward.

You will receive a write-up of at least 1,000 words from me, plus ratings on a 1-10 scale from every player involved in the playtest in the following categories: Uniqueness, Fun Factor, Game Balance, Theme/Art/Aesthetics, Smoothness of Mechanics, and Rules Clarity. Players will also be invited to provide additional comments.

If you have a demo copy of the game to ship me, I will be more than happy to ship it back to you afterward. If your game is print-and-play, requiring me to print out, cut out, and/or sleeve components, I am happy to do that, as well -- though it may affect the price of this service.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know!

Training & Qualifications

I am a founding member of Stone Circle Games, a small company that designs and publishes board, card, and tabletop games. Though my main responsibilities for the company involve finances, I'm also heavily involved with our in-house design process. This includes lots of playtesting and troubleshooting, both with internal reviewers and with the general public. I've gathered a lot on insight on what makes a game fun, interesting, and marketable, and I'd love to help other designers move forward with their own designs, as well.

Please note that this is not intended to be a discovery service. Stone Circle Games is not affiliated with my Simbi activities, and will not consider playtesting done in this way to be any kind of pitch or pre-publication arrangement. I just want to offer my services to fellow designers :)

Availability & Preferences

Evenings and weekends.

Trading Preference: I’m flexible, just hit me up!

Reviews of Aaron

Aaron did a superb job, not only proofreading a couple chapters in my book, but giving excellent feedback about plot snags and missed details. I feel ...more confident to continue working on my book thanks to his encouraging comments. show more
