"Can anything be sillier than the point of view of certain people—I mean those who boast of their foresight? They keep themselves very busily engaged in order that they may be able to live better; they spend life in making ready to live!" - Seneca
About 3 years ago, I decided it was time to heed this wise warning. I realized my life had become a casualty of my passion to achieve it. So, I quit a promising marketing career to pursue dreams that were far more important to me. I chased the notion that a life spent learning, teaching, creating, and volunteering was worth giving it all up. Since making the move, I have had a ton of adventures. Some good and some bad. But I wouldn't have it any other way, because I know I'm living the life I want and writing the stories I have chosen.
Now I work as a remote marketing consultant, mostly contracts, but also as a freelancer. But I really love helping others who want to work remotely, travel and live life on their terms. I consult 1:1 here on Simbi and am working on some books too as part of the industrious drift series. Check out my site for more info on what content I have available for aspiring remote workers and travelers.
I am always interested in discussing new opportunities. Please contact me if you have any suggestions or wish to learn more about traveling, freelancing, volunteering, or just living life a little differently.
