Learning English as a second language? Looking for someone to help practice? Whether it is listening, speaking practice, or constructive critique of writing I would be happy to assist.
If you are looking for writing critique and correction, I am available any day of the week. Though it may take a day or two to return so I can give a quality critique.
For conversation practice, I'm planning on 15-20 minute sessions. Afterward, I plan on writing up a strengths and weaknesses assessment for each conversation. We can discuss available times on a per person basis. My schedule is fairly open right now, but that may change in the future.
*Note: I would also be willing to assist with assignments from English language classes, however, I am not willing to do assignments for others or to simply give the answers. I believe this causes more harm than good for language learners.
Training & Qualifications
In addition to being a native English speaker, I have a certification as an English Literacy Tutor through the Portland Literacy Council and am presently taking classes via Arizona State University for English language instruction toward a TESOL certificate.
Availability & Preferences
For conversation practice, around 10am to 12pm or 2pm to 3pm, but feel free to ask about discussing alternate times.
