Hello! Firstly, I'm a bit of a completionist. I love video games and travel and theatre and singing. Not sure how some of those could be turned into services, but it gives you a kind of snapshot of wh...o I am. I came to Detroit first as a couchsurfer and then, to live, as a full-time volunteer. Now, I'm in the process of rehabbing a two-family flat that I plan to use as a Couch House. If you've been thinking about visiting Detroit, and even more so if that sounds scary to you, we should talk! I wear a whole lot of hats, so I can help you with a lot of different things! I'm a professional web developer and coding instructor. I have experience in several programming languages, but JavaScript is my first love. I do lots of WordPress and Shopify sites for my clients, so I have a handle on PHP and Liquid as well as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I care passionately about web accessibility, which is often overlooked until it becomes a serious issue for someone trying to use a particular website. It would've taken me much longer to understand just how important accessibility in general is without the companionship of New York's goalball team (which you should absolutely Google). I also make jewelry from laser cut wood, beads, and wire. This is my primary creative outlet and one of the very few tangible things I get to make.
