Health Consultation

120

120 simbi per hour - Virtual OK

Are you interested in treating yourself more holistically? Do you wish you could use herbs for your health ailments? Let me introduce you to your plant medicine allies! The world of herbal medicine can be very confusing, as there are so many herbs out there that are seemingly for the same condition. And even more claims made about herbs, that frequently have no basis in traditional herbalism or current research. Let me guide you through the herbal medicine cabinet and help you select the herbs specific to you and your needs!

This will be a full medical consult. You will present your primary medical complaint that you would like to work on and we go from there! I will take your medical history, current prescription and OTC medication, any applicable lab results. I will then work with you to assess suitable herbs to help you treat the cause of your condition as well as treat the symptoms. I also keep a watchful eye for possible contraindications and advising you on needed lifestyle adjustments.

If you decide to work with me on your case, follow-up appointments will be around 60 simbi. They are shorter than the initial consult.

Training & Qualifications

I trained as a clinical herbalist via Bastyr University and various apprenticeships with practicing herbalists and Naturopathic Doctors. I have been acting as a health consultant for around 5 years. My work these days focuses on botanical medicine research and botanical supplement product development, but I still take consulting cases on the side.

Trevor is a brilliant herbalist and an honest, dependable human all around. I highly recommend him and trust his expertise. He is incredibly passionate about herbal medicine and this passion and curiosities about the plants in combination with a strong scientific background in herbal sciences is what makes him a truly great person to speak with about botanical medicine.

About Trevor Clark

I am an herbalist and avid student of the plants. I began studying herbs after being diagnosed with several chronic pain conditions after a spinal fusion. I was in bed for 4 years before I found the h...erbs that set me on the path towards healing. After regaining my life I became obsessed with studying plant medicine. I was trained as an herbalist at Bastyr University in Washington state. While a student I followed an ethnobotanical lead on a largely forgotten Cherokee herb and discovered a chemical not known to exist in any native plant in North America, thereby broadening the therapeutic index of that herb. After graduating in Herbal Sciences I spent time studying herbs abroad and working on various farms, one owned by a supplement company. I then worked in botanical medicine research for 4 years on projects ranging from an NCCAM integrative oncology study, researching and standardizing ayahuasca for an FDA investigational new drug license (IND), and working on botanical heritage preservation. I left the windowless constraints of the analytical lab and medical chart room to perform a two month, 650 mile solo canoe trip where I cataloged native botanical medicines of Alabama. I was able to get 9 corporate sponsors for this trip and all I had to do was write a blog; which ended up with around 132,000 readers. I joined my friends in Denver, CO in October 2015 as a botanical supplement formulator for their cannabis company, where we strive to return cannabis to its rightful place in the herbal medicine cabinet. I joke that I use cannabis as a gateway herb to introduce people to herbal medicine! Once in a blue moon I guest teach at Bastyr University. show more
