Beta-Reading by Professional Editor
I am a full-time editor and layout designer and the co-owner of Penoaks Publishing (http://penoaks.com). When I beta-read your novel, I will:
--Note inconsistencies and unclear passages
--Comment on character development and consistency
--Note any plot holes or inaccuracies
--Comment on the readability of your personal style
--Give an analysis on the overall appeal and market potential of your novel
Beta-reading does not include:
--Grammar, punctuation, or other proofreading
--Verification of quotes, historical accuracy, etc.
Prices vary depending on the length of the book. The average YA or adult novel is usually 40 simbi. Turnaround time usually 1-2 weeks.
Fiction only. My personal areas of interest are young adult, dystopian, fantasy, sci-fi, and historical fiction, but will accept offers for all age-ranges and genres, except erotica (incidental sex scenes are fine).
Training & Qualifications
I am a full-time editor, published author, produced screenwriter, and the co-owner of Penoaks Publishing (http://penoaks.com).

About Aubrey Hansen
Hi new friends! My married name is Rachel Greene, but I publish under the penname Aubrey Hansen (https://www.patreon.com/aubreyhansen). I'm a twenty-something creative and entrepreneur from the Kans...as City, MO area. I live on three things: caffeine, furballs, and story. I love coffee and Pepsi, as well as mac 'n cheese, ranch dressing, and CUPCAKES! I have four cats (at last count), a pit bull, a ferret, and a snake (plus a husband). And I live on books, movies, and TV! I am especially fond of animation (Pixar, Disney, My Little Pony) and speculative fiction (especially sci-fi, dystopian, and alternate history). Top it all off with some rainbows, sprinkles, and a dash of magic, and there you have it! Professionally, I am a producer, screenwriter, published author, and editor/layout designer at Penoaks Publishing (http://penoaks.com). I have experience with indie publishing, having self-published several of my own books and now owning my own publishing business and managing several imprints. I also have experience screenwriting and producing, and my first feature (http://childthemovie.com) is in post-production. I adore the indie revolution and believe that freelance creatives have the potential to change the industry. My goal in life is to help freelance creatives, both in books and in film, to overcome pitfalls and make their work the absolute best it can be, so that not only do they see material success, but also so that their message can reach the world. I believe "Bad art is never good ministry," and it is my greatest dream to see Christians and other creatives with a heartfelt message revive their art and reach the world by writing truly great books and movies.
