Publish your Female Founder Story
I am the editor of a publication devoted to stories of Female Founders Network (femalefounders dot network)
I'm open to sharing your story through this publication and cross-posting it to our private LinkedIn group of over 1K female founders.
Here are some guidelines for your post:
1) We love to share your story and support your female-founded venture.
2) Who is a good fit? Founders and co-founders, CTOs, CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and other makers, doers, and dreamers who are building products, tools, applications, and services.
Female Founders Lead the Way initially organized around the Y Combinator 2015 female founders conferences in San Francisco.
The purpose of the blog and group is to foster connections, offer support/advice/news, provide a safe space to discuss founder issues, and encourage deeper discussions about the nature of entrepreneurship, what it means to be successful/unsuccessful, how we best support each other and future generations, what it means to leave a legacy, & how to best integrate personal, life, and business goals.
If you'd like to share your story with our group, please create a post and share it as a Google Doc, or inside the conversation window with me. I'll then post it to the blog as well as to our group.
Female founders, if you'd like to join the LinkedIn group directly, you may do so here: http://bit.ly/femalefoundersLinkedIn and then I'll approve (let me know your LinkedIn name).
Please create 3-5 paragraphs (or whatever strikes you as a good length), and include your link/logo etc, and together let's get it published!
Some prompts for your article:
a) What made you decide to start the business?
b) What is the most rewarding part of what you do?
c) Describe what impact you want to make because of your efforts?
d) Which part makes you the most proud?
e) What are some of the struggles you face?
f) Who are you seeking to connect with, in your area, or in the greater community?
