Can I make Group for my company?
Absolutely! Simbi Groups are ideal for medium to large companies where employees don’t all know each other. Not only are Groups perfect for team building, they also promote cross departmental collaboration and skills training.
Do Groups cost anything to create?
Nope! Simbi Groups are free to join and create.
Do I have a different account for my Group than for the main site?
All members only have one account. If you’re already a member of Simbi, you will be able to use your current account for any Group page as well.
Do Group members need to already be on Simbi?
Nope! You can choose to join a Group without ever having to be displayed on Simbi’s main site.
How do you exchange services in a Group?
Just like on the rest of Simbi! Find a service you want, start a conversation with whomever offered it. Once you start chatting, you’ll be able to propose a deal and work something out.
Can you exchange with people outside your Group?
Yes! You can go to simbi.com/home to check out our main site, or simbi.com/groups to join other groups.

How do I start a Group?
If you’d like to start your own Group, just fill out this short form and we’ll get you going immediately.
How do I invite people to my group?
The best way to invite people to join your Group is using your Group referral link. You can find it on your Invite to Group page. Share the link and you’ll earn up to 50 simbi per member you recruit.
Public vs Private Groups -- what’s the difference?
Public Groups are listed on simbi.com/groups for anyone to view and join. Private Groups are unlisted so that members of a Private Group can keep their URL a secret.
Do I get to choose my Group site’s URL?
Simbi Groups operate on a subdomain: simbi.com/groups/GroupName. If you would like to use a specific subdomain for your groups, please indicate so when filling out the Group Creation Form. Once you have your subdomain, you are welcome to set up a URL with a redirect for a fully customized domain.

How do I edit a group?
If your Group is live but has less than 10 members, you can still contact our Support Team if you’d like to edit the subdomain, Group Name, or icon.
Can I control what is posted to my Group?
Simbi Groups are largely decentralized. Although someone must be responsible for the creation and initial recruiting to get a Group off the ground, we currently do not have Group moderators. Instead, we entrust Group curation to the Group as a whole. If any problems emerge, don’t hesitate to chat with our Support Team using the chat button on the bottom right corner.
Can you exchange with people outside your Group?
Yes! You can go to simbi.com/home to check out our Main Site, or simbi.com/groups to join other groups. You can make deals with anyone on Simbi, even people that are only in Private Groups (but you probably won’t be able to find them).
Do I earn credits for people joining my Group?
So long as they are new to Simbi, you certainly do! You earn 25 simbi each time someone joins your Group using your referral link, and 25 more once they make their first deal. You'll get credit so long as your recruit is 100% new to Simbi. Just make sure they join through your personalized referral link found in your Invite to Group page.
