I will begin by showing a few basic steps in Salsa, Rumba, Merengue, Bachata, Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot or Swing. We will also work on body movement, posture, body response, and touch sensitivity to increase your ability to read the other being's energy and movement. We will assess your progress in any of the above mentioned dances and work in areas where more energy could be used. We will increase confidence in each other, fluidity, grace, poise, and of course laughter! Let us learn to dance in movement with life. Lets hear the music of the world and become a dancer of life. Life is more of a dance than a journey! So let's hone our sense of presence and enjoy the infinite moment that is life.
Training & Qualifications
I was a Professional Ballroom Dance Instructor for roughly 3 years but could not handle the drama that came along with the business. I believe dance to be a gift instead of a regimented competition. It's a way of living, rather! I still love to dance and would love to be able to connect to the friendly community and help raise awareness of the quality of the present moment. Dancing has always been something I enjoy doing and showing others how to move and to be and to read makes my heart glow with gratitude. Please don't be shy! I'll always try to work something out with you. I'm a very laid back easy-going guy.
Availability & Preferences
I'm usually free. But when you learn to dance with life, it may sweep you off your feet. I'll get back to you ASAP!
