Training & Qualifications

2 years studying under the fine minds at the Traditions School of Herbal Studies.
Participation in many conferences including the American Herbalist's Guild Symposium 2016, Florida Herbal Conferences 2016-2017, and many events sponsored by the United Plant Savers.
My growing library contains over 20 dedicated herbal texts, including the Physician's PDR for Herbal Medicine; I also have access to several hundred books through the Traditions Herb School.
I am constantly benefitting from the experiences of hundreds of other herbalists, most of us in the field do very little other than study, practice and teach. This is why I am grateful to offer the service of research, anything learned by answering the questions you are willing to ask will inform more than just me and yourself; it will make it into instructional material and books in the future.

About Wyatt Bottorff

I grew up in rural Appalachia doing construction, renovation of old (some are civil war) structures, native landscaping and water-gardens from a young age. I was still in elememtary school when our adopted out 100 dogs a year for 5 years in a row. During and after high school we focused on landscaping and fine woodworking. It wasn't until I moved away 3 years ago that I began studying the topics that are now my passion: Herbalism and Permaculture. I have since worked on several small farms across the East Coast, helping some of them to transition towards perennial polyculture designs. For the last 2 years my primary focus has been in studying the Herbal traditions, any modern research in that direction; and every other means of well-being available to us. This training has been put to good use from the beginning, and I will be clinically certified at the end of the year; undoubtedly with far more than the 200 treating hours more
