I have a degree in Secondary English Education. I have taught several grade levels including first grade reading and phonics, ESL, middle school English and history, and high school English.
Hi, I am a wife, mother, teacher, and crafter. My greatest passion is learning new things, and my second greatest passion is sharing what I've learned with others. Since I find learning so enjoyable..., I hope to make it fun for those I teach as well. As a mother, I hop e that my children develop a similar passion for learning. Recently, I have become interested in sewing and other traditional homemaking skills. I love to make jam and do other water bath canning recipes, but I haven't been brave enough to use my pressure canner yet. Food storage and basic emergency preparedness are also homemaking interest of mine. Cross stitching, scrap booking, and jewelry making are other things I dabble in. I will try any number of crafts and other Pintrest projects. My professional qualifications include an A.A in Early Childhood Education, a B.S in Secondary English Education with a history and Bible minor, and about half of a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught k4, first grade, ESL, and middle and high school. I currently teach at a local private Christian School. show more
