Weaving The Threads and Repair Cafe (RESEED) are currently sewing Boomerang Bags for the local Op Shop to encourage plastic free.
We now would like to branch out and make show bags for Ecofest in April 2024.
A Boomerang Bag filled with:
home made soap,
cotton yarn multi use (dish) cloth,
handmade handkerchiefs ( using pure cotton bassinette or cot sheets.
Orange plastic onion bags sewn into pot scrubbers. (Give the plastic bag a second life).
wooden toys
Something to read ( a book, or information sheet on uses for lemons)
(brain storming still continuing)
We are needing people to sew Boomerang bags, knit/ crochet cloths, sew / find hankies, make soap, create wooden toys or useful items atm.
Alternatively, if anyone has new linen or pure cotton hankies they have hidden away in their drawers they will be graciously accepted as donations.
Any cotton yarn, sewing thread, or fabric is most welcome too
