About Victoria Motto
Hey there! I'm a French immersion Special Education teacher and separated/single mother of two. I'm an autism ally and advocate (my son had ASD). I am a generally creative and crafty person who enjoys time in nature, music, concerts, movies, reading, baking, hiking, cycling slo-pitch baseball and volleyball. I am a fairly spiritual person, and am trained in Reiki (level 2, hoping to take the Master level, sometime soon).
I really would love to use Reiki more actively, and would be very keen to exchange Reiki sessions for other modalities of treatments and services. My latest hobby/interest is running, and I am training to do a 5K.
I love to write, but never seem to find the time to indulge that interest, myself. Nonetheless, I am generally very detailed oriented, with a knack for seeing "the bigger picture". I can find a spelling mistake almost anywhere! In university, I originally intended to major in English and become a journalist, however, languages won out, and I majored in French instead.
I am a busy and active woman who sees the value in bartering skills and services. This not only helps everyone to benefit from skills, knowledge and services, but it also helps to make our hard earned money last longer. Everyone's time and expertise is worth something, and sharing builds a sense of community and positive interdependence. In an increasingly fast paced, impersonal world, we all need to feel more connected to each other. :-)
