Hello, and thank you for viewing my LinkedIn profile! My name is Travis Pope and I'm currently a senior majoring in music business at Northwestern State University.

During my time here at NSU I've studied tuba under Dr. J. Mark Thompson. I've been lucky to perform with all the wonderful musicians in NSU's Wind Symphony for the last 3 years, and have sat principal tuba with the NNSO.

After I graduate from NSU I plan on pursuing a masters degree in tuba performance and expanding my views on music and brass playing. My future goals include graduating with my DMA, work for a professional symphony orchestra, and entering academia to teach and expand the minds of young tubists.
