Although my foundation is in technology, I've had over 20 years of experience across all aspects of digital marketing - ranging from creative to strategy; from database design to project management, and all points in between. This breadth is driven not by restlessness, but by an insatiable hunger to understand how all of the moving parts coalesce into a more meaningful whole.
It's clear that such a cross-functional understanding exists at only a moment in time, because things are changing so quickly. I've found that the effort to stay current suits me very well.
On the subject of evolution, one of the most fundamental shifts in the practice of marketing is not related to technology – now, the consumer's relationship with brands has taken center stage. As a strategist, I value listening and careful study as the keys to building the deep and lasting relationships that make our work most effective - and most enjoyable. Of course, there's a time for everything, and I love rolling up my sleeves and solving a good challenge.
