I'm an expert at repair/restoration of antique/vintage tube radios, televisions, audio gear, amplifiers, shortwave radios, and anything electronic made from the dawn of time up through the 1960s (and very well known in early television collectors circles). As well, I can fix fans, appliances, etc....anything you plug in!
For this service, I'll be able to do basic services up to 30 minutes of repair time and excluding parts. I can also examine whatever you have, and tell you what you've got to work with....along with tube testing if required. Full restorations available as well....I do top notch work quickly and very affordably. I'll accept Simbi payments for most restorative work. Items must be brought to my workshop in Cheektowaga NY at an agreed time (that's where my equipment is). For larger items I may be able to come to you.
Training & Qualifications
Over 20 years behind the soldering iron. I do work for museums and universities, as well as people in radio and television production, audiophiles, and a lot of people that just want to own something really different and reliable once restored.
Availability & Preferences
Weeknights after 5 usually, but I'm open to other time slots.
