I'm creating my business at home while running after a toddler and three mischievous cats.
My kid tests out some of my under-three toy designs. He's very thorough.
While he naps, I make gift items, costume accessories, and desserts to sell. On weekends, I'm available for crafting parties.
My toys can be cute, but usually end up in "quirky" territory. They range from baby-safe to bachelor/ette party props. Recently made something risqué for a Harry Potter themed bachelorette party. If you request something and it doesn't pose a safety hazard (and is legal) I will do my best to make it happen.
Past experience in home-renovation (stepfather thought kids were good cheap labor) has given me enough experience to build pet furniture and dollhouses. However, my budget for raw materials it tight, so if you have a bunch of scrap wood with minimal sanding needed, I cam make you something.
I sculpt in clay, fondant, marzipan, and chocolate clay. I carve stamps and chocolate.
If you live close enough for pick-up, I can make decorative desserts.
I unwind with drawing, writing fan-fiction, and making weird things I'm not sure will sell.
