For the past 6 1/2 years I have been employed with Vocational Rehabilitation Services. This agency of the State of Indiana, provides vocational counseling and guidance to individuals with disabilities. This was done through case management and supervisory experiences that allows a thorough view of all aspects of the agency. During my tenure with VRS, I have had the ability to assist a legally blind photographer obtain his driver's license! There are many challenges with this type of position, however, the rewards far outweigh the struggles and stress!

Upon moving into a Supervisory role, it has been exciting to learn the inner workings of the agency and become a part of making the system even better. Through project participation, I have come to learn more about how our agency uses our case management system and am a part of making that system work more effectively and efficiently for our staff.
