Surbhi Manocha Choudhary is a Mrs.Femina India finalist, a regular newspaper columnist, a life-coach, and the founder of a social- entrepreneurship initiative called Bharat Ki Beti Foundation that works on menstrual hygiene among economically underprivileged women. She has diverse professional experience in the fields of Banking, Insurance and Pharmaceuticals.
Surbhi loves meeting new people and usually nets a couple of new friends every time she’s on a flight, a train or pretty much anyplace with new people. She is a feminist, believes in equality for all and resists stereotypes. She also believes that since men are no more than an evolutionary necessity, they better be good for something besides, well… just being men.
She lives in Indore with her precocious daughter and bookworm husband.
To sum her up in her own words,
“I dance to the songs in my head, speak with the rhythm of my heart and somehow that ends up breaking stereotypes even without my wanting to play a sledgehammer.
I believe that we're each born a certain way and preserving that which makes us unique is the only way to be happy. And so I refuse to play grown-up, a role that society manages to force upon most.”
