1 hour long-term food storage coach

50

50 per unit - Virtual OK - Posted Feb 10, 2017

We will help you work through the decision process to determine what long-term food storage options are best for your situation. This includes the details of each process, including equipment, containers, buying food which can't be grown by you, preserving (in the case of canning or fermenting), sealing and optimum storage based on your situation.

Training & Qualifications

Wife is former Home Economics teacher (pre-PC Home Ec when girls were taught to mend, sew, cook, balance a checkbook and manage their household). We both have several years' experience doing long-term food storage: canning, dehydrating, fermenting (not so much experience in fermenting as in other areas), dry staples in metallized foil bags and buckets (wheat, beans, rice, oatmeal, pasta - things like that) using vacuum packing, oxygen absorbers and dessicants, labelling, proper storage, rotation and meal planning.
