About Stephen McDonald

As a member of the United States Army, I had the opportunity to lead soldiers both in Iraq and during their transition to civilian life at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. I strove to be... an active, involved, and fair leader who took care of his soldiers. Now that my military career has ended, I do my utmost to apply the skills I learned as a leader in the military to my career as an educator. I am consistent, fair, punctual, and most importantly, I apply my military work ethic to any project or class I have to tackle. Whether the objective is designing a course or supplemental materials like instructional videos, online lectures, and reusable learning objects; or tutoring one-on-one or perhaps leading a small group review session -- I ensure that my work is top quality and that I meet the needs of my co-workers and students.
