About Stephen Douglas Wright

My name is Stephen Douglas Wright. I am an entrepreneur, writer and theater artist living in Grand Rapids, MI. In the theater realm, I act, direct, produce and write plays. I will graduate in August ...from Aquinas College, Grand Rapids, with my Bachelor of Arts in three majors: political Science, theater (performance emphasis), and philosophy. I'm the founder and proprietor of the 1yr theater company, which seeks to put on five original plays that I have or will write between the summers of 2015 and 2016. To date, the company and I have produced three: Journey to the Stars, Doctor Arthur, and The Moon Will Rise and Grow. We are excited to produce our fourth show, Asteria Rising, this July. I am also a film actor. I have been in the background of several big name movies, and I frequently work with Vigorous Fizz in supporting roles in their feature length productions. I view myself as a creative leader that strives to bring out the best performance in myself and others. I've honed this skill working as the head of theater projects, and also with my years of work with persons with developmental and cognitive disabilities.
