Administrative Task Automation
Small businesses, rejoice! I can take mundane administrative tasks, like repetitive data entry in forms, and partially (or even fully) automate them from you! Even automating small stuff can lead to big time savings.
I do this using Microsoft Office products or other software that you already have on hand, so there are no additional costs involved.
Not sure what I mean? Here's an example of what I have done...
I worked for a department that had to generate weekly reports in Excel and mail them to customers. Each time, they would open a new workbook, paste the data in, format the report, save it to a folder, and email the report manually. I simplified the process by creating an Excel template for them to paste data into and with the click of a button, the report was named appropriately, formatted, saved to a folder, and emailed all in one easy button click!
