On finding the high school psychology course was full, I landed in a speech and debate class in an unfamiliar place. In the remarkably intelligent and compassionate people I found there I made a home and, later, an academic major. I also discovered uses for my obsessively analytic mindset, developed a sense of nuance, and grew fascinated with the power of discourse.
Seven years later I hold a Bachelor's in Communication Studies and edit papers and speeches for fun. When I'm not consulting, reading, or writing, I'm probably tinkering with guitars or exploring new music.
