I will research one topic of choice, providing up to 10 ( but not less than 4) sources of information about the subject. I will write a brief summary and review, using either MLA, Chicago, or APA. Summary and the review will not be more than 8 pages or 3000 words, whichever comes first.
I aim to be involved in policy development around Youth Care, Economic Development, Local and First Nations Governance. I see them as all connected, overlapping issues. I have been active on all three... fronts: first, by being a youth care worker; second, by being a researcher looking Economic Development on and off reserve; third, by pursuing accreditation and certification relevant on all these matters. I see myself in either a House Manager role, Community Planner, or Research Lead in the near future. That doesn't mean I don't like the Front-Line work of Youth Care work. I would like to active both in Policy Development and Front Line work if the possibility arose. I am flexible on locations, but I have to admit that I enjoy communities that are Small or Northern (or both). I am really hoping that the work I find contributes directly to the community I am and fosters goodwill.show more
