I will diagnose and repair if possible any computer, or home network problems, any home theater problems, or any technology related issues. I have 12 years of experience in the IT field focused on systems administrator and networking including low voltage wiring and network wiring.
My work experience as I continue to pursue my degree in Computer Science specializing in Network Administration and Security, follows. My position as lead telecommunications tech at Comcast provided the platform to succeed at micros as lead desktop support analyst with expertise in Active Directory, Remote / dial in support, and other Administrator skill sets. At micros I was quickly promoted to supervisor of the overnight shift support center. Other relevant experience includes my positions as lead technical trainer for Clear Wire Inc. on a contract to support the Baltimore Cellular build-out; as well as desktop support analyst at T. Rowe Price. Most recently I worked as a systems administrator to support a site relocation for Message Systems, where I became acquainted with CentOS, OpenBSD, and Red hat Linux (all Unix-like operating systems). I am also familiar with Bash and Perl programming languages as well as the MAC OSX. I have been CompTIA Net+ and CompTIA Security+ certified. My greatest strengths are my ability to learn quickly, and my ability to focus on the solution rather than dwell on the problem. show more
