About Scott Kurland

5 ball juggler, lot of 3 and 4 ball tricks. I teach a workshop at Austin Jugglefest called "Tricks Even Scott Can Do;" Mills' Mess (with shower insert), takeouts (3 or 4 balls), Rubenstein's Revenge, ...Boston Mess, slams, showers (3 or 4 balls), box, alternating shower aka the baby trick (3 or 4 balls), 441, half showers (3 or 4 balls), high-low(-medium) shower, 5551 (and hey, siteswap in general), supine and overhead juggling, juggling situps, 2 (or 3!) in one hand, cascade (3 or 5 balls), multiplex (3-6 balls), machine, cherry picker, Boston shuffle, Burke's Slam, rainbow cross, factory, fake mess, reverse cascade. tennis, crossed arm cascade, chops, Statue of Liberty, pandemonium, fountains, 55550.... Happy to tutor siteswap, basic passing patterns like 4-count, 3-count, 2-count, Zen, props: balls, rings, clubs, devil stick, poi - my climax poi skill is turning 3-beat weave with the jugglers' flourish. If you're in Austin come hang out with dozens of jugglers every Thursday evening 7-10 at the Texas Juggling Society, a micrometer from UT campus; many club passers to play with, probably the coolest juggling skill. Generally speaking at the club if there are props out on the floor you're welcome to try them out, a couple of my cool props are chainmail donuts and heavy - 21 ounce - beanbags. At the other end of the spectrum from the heavies are BBs, several of which you are welcome to keep if you can manage a 3-BB cascade for a dozen throws. Tennis courts throw away dozens of (dead) balls a week and are usually happy to donate a few to the cause. Cutting a penny-sized slit in them and stuffing them with a couple of dozen pennies makes for a much better juggling more
