Dr. Friedman has a broad range of experience dealing with various aspects of business development and operations. Following graduation from the University of Michigan in 1989 and then earning an M.D. at West Virginia University in 1995, he co-founded CareFlow|Net, a medical informatics company based on his research while at WVU. At CareFlow|Net, he grew the company until it was acquired by Philips Health Systems North America, and served there as a Vice President. After leaving Philips, Dr. Friedman co-founded Seegrid, where he led all aspects of the business until he left in 2012 to form his own investment and management services company. At WM, Dr. Friedman developed a strategic approach founded on a deep understanding of client and customer needs together with operations driven by quality management principles. Dr. Friedman is actively involved in structuring and managing the creation of new businesses, product management, and a broad array of technology sector consulting activities. He serves as an advisor to several companies, primarily in North America. He currently holds 4 patents.
