As many experienced dog owners will tell you, raising a well-rounded and polite dog can take more than just the owner. Puppies seem to have boundless energy; and while some dogs mellow with age, certain breeds are known to maintain this playful attitude throughout their life. Additionally, certain breeds are known to become shy, or even defensive, when not taught to meet strangers in a safe and pleasant way.
My job is to help you steer you furry friend in the right direction with positive training and safety in mind.
If your dog has a history of aggression, you must inform me; I will NOT turn you away for this! For everyone's safety, I need to plan ahead and determine why this aggression is displayed, and how to handle it accordingly. Prices vary on what the dog will be taught, from simple leash manners to agility and stress management.
Training & Qualifications
A lifelong dog lover, I mainly interact with medium-large breeds such as German Shepard Dogs, Pitt Bulls, and large-breed mutts. I have experience training with slip leads, prong, and electric collars. As the owner, you have full control of what I use; I will NEVER use a prong, electric, or martingale collar without your express permission.
I have grown up around dogs my entire life, and understand how nutrition, stress, and habits can impact their behavior. I seek to help committed owners educate themselves and put into place healthy practices to benefit everyone and make a happy, safe household.
