Meet-up for Toronto Creatives
Calling Toronto-based creatives and entrepreneurs!
EVERY Friday at AMP Studio Cafe - 154 Oakwood Ave, Toronto's most passionate creatives and entrepreneurs get together, get inspired and get in the FLOW!
NEW TIME: 3PM to 9PM
>>>WHAT IS FLOW FRIDAY?<<<
-> Support Group:
Share your challenges and successes with like-minded people. Set goals, track your progress and get accountability.
-> Creative Hub:
We have uplifting music playing in the background, brainstorming opportunities and several activities, tools, workshops and games to inspire creativity and facilitate the flow state.
-> Co-working Space:
Bring a project and see how much more productive you can be in a supportive space with some of Toronto's most passionate entrepreneurs and creatives. Work independently, explore collaboration opportunities or network.
-> Open-mic/Jam (starts at 6pm):
Experience the most unique open mic and jam in Toronto, hands-down. We have a special showcase followed by an open platform for ALL forms of expression, in any medium or language. You can sing, play an instrument, recite a poem, share some of your artwork, tell jokes, share a story, lead an activity, say a prayer, dance, act, do a live art piece, lead a mindfulness meditation, give a motivational speech, share some observations or even plug your upcoming event... You can prepare something, or improvise. Collaborate with others or do it alone.
-> In addition to this, Flow Friday is meant to be an experiment to answer the question: "How can creatives and entrepreneurs consistently access the flow state?" You are encouraged to figure out what "flow" means to you and contribute to the communal process.
One definition of the flow state (also referred to as being "in the zone") is a state of peak performance where the person experiencing it has energized focus and is completely absorbed in an activity.
To establish and inspire a strong, diverse community of creatives and entrepreneurs who consistently access the flow state in order to perform at a peak level that ultimately increases goal achievement.
