An introduction to High Sensitivity
High sensitivity, also known as sensory processing sensitivity, is a trait affecting 20% of most populations. It sets the people with it apart, but is very often misunderstood and even seen in a unnecessarily negative light.
If you are sensitive to light and noise and exprience your and others' emotions very intensely, you might be a Highly Sensitive Person. As an HSP myself, I can share basic information and resources on how to understand, manage and appreciate your trait.
this info is also useful to teachers, coaches, and therapists, or for those who think they may have a highly sensitive partner, employee or child.

Training & Qualifications
in addition to my BSc in psychology, I have read a lot and followed a course on this topic. I also work with highly sensitives in a local meet up group, and have counseled many clients and students whom I believe had ,or professed to having, the trait.
