MacBook Repair

20

20 per unit - - Posted Jun 17, 2017

Experienced technician that will repair most MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air models. I've primarily been working on MacBook Unibody (aluminum) models to newer. Must have a replacement part available or be willing to reimburse cost of getting a new part shipped to me. This can be anything from RAM, a Hard Drive, a Battery, a Fan, a Keyboard, etc. Credits cover 1 replacement part, and if I spot anything else that may need replacing during the process I'll let you know before returning the MacBook. Can do a complete MacBook overhaul if requested, credits negotiable. Consultation on possible repairs also available upon request, credits negotiable. All old parts will be offered back to you, and if you choose not to take them will be disposed of safely. Please ask if you have any questions.

Training & Qualifications

I am an IT Professional with a Bachelors in Computer Science. I've been using Apple products for over 15 years, and repairing them for over 8 years. Currently own all of the tools necessary for repairing all models of MacBooks beginning with the Unibody (aluminum) model to newer.

Availability & Preferences

Weekends, mostly, but some evenings may work too for drop off/pick up if local.

Trading Preference: I’m flexible, just hit me up!

About Roger Redin

Avid user of technology and follower of technology and science. Consumer and creator of digital media. Dabbler in marketing materials. I work primarily (but not solely) with Apple products, and l...ove taking/editing videos. I also host a podcast with a local friend. If you're interested, send me a message and I'll give you details on the podcast. Most of the video stuff I'm doing right now is for my family, but I've done some video for work as well. Both podcasting and videography are passions of mine and I love doing them. Sadly, both are only hobbies as my full-time job is as an IT Tech. I also have some skill in InDesign as I design a quarterly newsletter at work, so that may be something I offer up if there's interest as well. I work in Portland, ME, and I live not far outside the city. I also occasionally visit friends and family in NH, MA, RI, and CT, so depending on timing and requests I may be somewhat local if you live in those states! Hardware repairs that I offer will likely have to be local or having shipping paid, but software can be done from anywhere, so no restrictions on that! I don't have many listings yet, but I'll probably do listings for MacBook hardware, iMac/Mac Pro hardware, iPad/iPhone hardware, MacOS software, and iOS software. Might offer up some consulting on audio/video knowledge if the demand is out there. If there's something you've requested that I may be able to help with, I'll offer up my knowledge or services!show more
