I am a wood worker in training (self training). I have built things ranging from large fish tank stands to reclaimed wine racks, tables, bars, picture frames, etc. I almost always work with reclaimed wood. Timing would vary depending on my work schedule and the level of the project.
I am interested in marine community structure and function; understanding the mechanisms regulating the biotic and abiotic relationships of marine organisms. In particular, I am interested in the con...servation of commercial species and in the role global climate change will play in the spatial and temporal distribution of these organisms. I also focus on educating the general public to know why this type of conservation is of utmost importance. Obtaining a position which would allow me to do this type of research and/or promote understanding and conservation of marine organisms in a creative environment is extremely important to me.show more
