30 Minute Beginner Ukulele Lesson

With the first lesson, I will teach you to hold and strum chords or finger-pick on the ukulele to start playing simple songs immediately. Given enough time with lessons on rhythm and technique, you will learn enough to play all genres of music from classic to pop-culture. I am a high level intermediate player who does the occasional open mic for fun and have volunteer performances at local events. I can teach beginners as young as 10. I can let you borrow a ukulele for lessons, but you will need your own for practice (you can find them cheap on Amazon). I will also provide music sheets with words and chords.
Training & Qualifications
I am a self-taught ukulele player for 3+ years. My performances at local fairs and open mics are volunteer gigs. I will not let you make the mistakes I did when I first started playing. My music repertoire ranges from 1920's ragtime to modern pop-culture.
Availability & Preferences
I am usually available on Saturdays & Sundays. I avoid weeknights due to fluctuating work schedule
