Is your bike not working as well as it used to? Brakes a little sticky? Shifter not shifting anymore? I will help you fix your bike, and answer any questions you have along the way. Bikes are simple machines, but they do require a little maintenance every once and a while to keep them rolling smoothly down the bike path. I am a bike mechanic two days per week, and have access to parts and tools to fix any bike, trike, or tandem. lets get your bike back in tip top shape! If you live in the lansing area, I can even come to you, via electric bike, tools and all. I also have spare bikes that can me dismantled for their parts if your bike needs replacement parts. I can also offer advice on building a good commuter bike, happing you save gas money and the carbon footprint of driving a car or truck.
Training & Qualifications
I have been a bike mechanic since April 2018, and have a long history working as a mechanic and mechanical engineer. I also have a metal workshop for building various items. I have been building bikes since high school, when I added a 5hp air compressor engine to a specialized mountain bike that I cut apart for the occasion. I try not to be as invasive to the bike as I have been in the past these days, but sometimes you have to cut two bikes up to make a good one. I promise I won't cut your bike in half! (unless you would like me too)
