About Rallie Murray
I am deeply connected to fomenting social transformation in the world. My current work involves prison reform and the prison abolition movement, in which I work directly with men and women incarcerated in prisons across the United States - most especially with those kept in long-term solitary confinement in California.
Despite being a young academic, I already have several publications under my belt. My first piece was published in a peer-reviewed journal through the University of California, Irvine. I was invited to speak at an international conference in Prague, Czech Republic on Evil and Human Wickedness, and my presentation was published in an eBook and was selected for expanded publication in a hard-copy edition from the conference. I have also written a few articles for the San Francisco Bay View. I intend to continue writing and publishing in as many avenues as possible, in order to further my academic career and more importantly to expand consciousness about the political issues that are at the center of my research.
My future goals are to continue writing and publishing, and to find a position as a professor at a university (ideally in California).
