I will take you on a 1-2 hr hike (dependent on your interest/stamina) that I approve as "interesting" and talk environmental science along the way; like your personal Naturalist. Don't know how to identify poison ivy or how to treat it, I'll teach you. Want to know which insects bite vs sting vs leave people alone? Wondering what that pretty flower is? Did you know some insects start off life fully aquatic? You'll be sure to learn a lot, while exercising and enjoying the peacefulness of nature. Bring a friend or dog along so you feel more comfortable with a "stranger" in the woods, haha! I bring my husky everywhere I go, by the way :) Great for photography opps too! We can work in meditative exercises too, if you're looking for a unique way to connect with nature.

We'll touch base about about how to prep for a woodsy hike if you're not very nature saavy, too. Kids welcome with adult. Scout groups welcome at a higher "rate" if you'd like a full environmental education program to earn a particular badge/lesson. I specialize as an aquatic ecosystem ecologist in my day job!
