About Philip D. Goggin, CCT-P/AAS
As a Paramedic with a combined experience in EMS and the fire industry of over 25 years, I have had the distinct pleasure of working in many aspects in EMS ranging from field Paramedic, EMS Supervisor, Public Relations Director and Contractor/Administrator. I find myself striving to grow in experience and knowledge due to the fact that the more I know, the more I realize how much I still have to learn. That alone drives me to better myself.
Also, I served as a 2nd Lieutenant with the United States Civil Air Patrol, as Health Services Officer, where I served five squadrons.
During my EMS career since 2000, starting with Abbott Ambulance, I have earned numerous certifications, letters of excellence, and additional training:
American Heart Association CPR Instructor, PALS Instructor, GEMS, AMLS, ITLS, PACTS/PALS, ACLS, CPR/AED, Multi – Lead Medics (Bob Page), 40 Hour EMS Instructor Workshop, ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 and Federal Terrorism Awareness
Finally, I have served as Adjunct Instructor, EMT and Paramedic class, at Mineral Area College, Jefferson College Paramedic Program, Washington County Ambulance District EMT Program and Instructor with St. Francois County Ambulance teaching First Responders and EMT, and finally I was a NREMT testing proctor for one year at the Memphis and Covington, Tennessee test sites.
