I will teach you how to knit at any level from beginner to advanced. I can teach with any type of needle depending on your knitting style or help you discover what your style is. I am able to teach basic skills, more advanced skills such as cabling, lace patterns, color knitting, and chart reading. I can teach you to read any pattern and create a garment from it, as well as altering/reformulating patterns to adjust for body type/size, yarn gauge or personal preference. I can also help you to understand how to pick the best types of yarn and needles for your specific projects.
Training & Qualifications
I am a published knitting pattern designer and former teacher of knitting classes. I have been knitting for over 15 years and have the skills to teach any aspect of knitting desired from basics, to understanding patterns, to constructing garments, and beyond. I am also happy to help you plan projects from choosing the right pattern, yarn, needles, all the way to choosing buttons at the end.
Availability & Preferences
Sundays, Monday afternoons, most times Wednesdays if planned in advance.
