I've took almost 2 years now to learn Design Tech, and from that have become quite proficient at Python programming. It's actually much easier than I thought when I was in the thick of it thinking I'd never be able to do it. Now, I can pretty much follow along to most videos explaining the many, many amazing things that can be done with simple coding.
Training & Qualifications
I have recently completed a non affiliated 9 month design tech course with the Sandbox here in UK. I made a 3-d Capo for my guitar, printed some print stuff and designed many designs using various software programs. As I'm sure no one can contend technology is going to continue to grow in our daily lives and there's no better time than now to jump aboard. As Github becomes the new Facebook then I encourage you to at least take a little time out and see what you can learn to empower you with your first steps in utilising this amazing coding language.
